1981 - 1982
Toward the end of 1980, I left Europe and embarked on a 2-year trip to Asia and Australia. Once I had reached Colombo, I slowed down my pace for more than a year as I explored Sri Lanka, India and northern Pakistan according to the people I was meeting and the rhythm of the seasons. Made from the Himalayas and the Ganges River valley to Rajasthan and the edge of the Indian Ocean, these photographs chronicle a period of wanderings.
